When I met Bailey I knew we would get along so well because of the starbucks drink she ordered. Hello Chocolate Chip Frappe. We first talked about their wedding and wedding details. When she said she was looking around for maternity photo locations I had a few places in mind, though I felt like everyone always used those same few locations for photos. A few weeks before her and Micah’s maternity session she messaged me saying she would love to have them at one of the Lavender Farms in Bend. and then I fainted. When I was in high-school a dear friend Taffy Donald got me completely hooked on Lavender, lavender drinks, flowers, lavender cookies and so much more. It was more than fitting, and I could not wait for that night.
I thought about it daily till the day came! We were all battling colds but we still could smell that sweet and subtle lavender, it’s always so soothing. It was incredibly hazy from all the smoke; though it created such a beautiful aesthetic and some amazing tones. Bailey & Micah are beautiful human beings and I am so happy to work with them and photograph their wedding in October!
It was one of my favorite sessions i’ve ever had. and I should be getting those film scans backk within a week! I’ll blog those as well when I get them. Here’s a few gorgeous photos of these 3. Metolius is one loved baby boy and I can’t wait to see this little prince after he makes his arrival into this world.
